This has nothing to do with Bulls baseball and it says something nice about the New York Yankees, but as an ex-soldier and dog lover, I just had to pass this on. Sgt Rex and Corporal Leavey both served their country with distinction. Sergeant Rex was recently retired and was reunited with his handler, who had also separated from the Marines. The president of the Yankees helped get the pair back together.
They were honored in a very nice ceremony in Yankee stadium. Details and a better photo here and here. Get the Kleenex out.
To Sergeant Rex’s credit, he tried to take a chunk out of A-Rod. Too bad he was muzzled. Lengthy video here.
