RHP Dale Thayer has been called up from Triple-A Durham, to join the beleaguered bullpen. He is on his way to the stadium.
Thayer, who has been up twice previously this season, has 3.52 ERA with one save in six big-league appearances. He was 2-5, 2.27 with 17 saves in 23 chances for Durham.

That is not going to help.
ReplyDeleteI did notice, though, that according to the Bulls' website, the starter for Louisville for game 1 doesn't have a record yet. Maybe that means they have been getting hit like this from the Reds as well?
Adam Sobsey over at Indy Week is trying to get a handle on the matchups. Makes my head hurt. Think I'll just watch the game and see what happens.
